AVA Capital Set for NGX Listing to Strengthen Market Visibility

AVA Capital Plc, an integrated financial services firm covering investment banking, asset management, securities trading and trusteeship, is set to list on the Nigerian Exchange by introduction.

The move is not a capital-raising exercise; no new shares are being issued. Roughly 20 per cent of the company’s shares already sit outside the controlling shareholder structure, satisfying the exchange’s free float requirement.

Managing director Olukayode Fadahunsi described the listing as a natural progression in the firm’s evolution, positioning it to strengthen its institutional profile, meet higher corporate governance standards and widen investor access. The listing reflects a broader trend of Nigerian financial institutions moving toward greater transparency and institutional participation in the capital market.
