“The Voices of Diaspora”
AfroPlus presents five exciting events on the topics of African culture and identity, Afro-German innovations, creative industries and career prospects for the African diaspora in Germany. In an open discussion, various members of the Afro-German community will present their success stories, projects and organizations. We would like to show positive examples and enable an open exchange among each other. The first four online events will take place monthly via video call, the last event will take place offline in NRW as a brunch with panel talk.
Part 1: “African culture and identity in Germany”
A discussion on the importance of African culture and identity in Germany and how it can be promoted and preserved, as well as the role of the African diaspora in creating a diverse and inclusive society in Germany.
